Job Title: Backend Developer

Our innovative healthcare platform requires a highly skilled backend developer with deep expertise in Python and Django (minimum 7 years of experience) to join our dynamic team.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions using Python and Django, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, and contributing to the design and development of new products and services across the development stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
  • Designing and implementing scalable and efficient database schemas.
  • Contributing to the design and development of new products and services across the development stack.
  • Integrating third-party services and APIs.
  • Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues and bugs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Django and Python backend development, expertise in Docker and containerized deployments, strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, proficiency with PostgreSQL and experience in database design and management, basic understanding of front-end technologies, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience deploying solutions in production environments, knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and exposure to healthcare IT standards such as HIPAA compliance.
