About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced software test engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies, automation development, and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
    • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
    • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
  • Test Automation:
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar).
    • Build and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines.
    • Create automated API tests using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
    • Maintain test automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement:
    • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
    • Provide feedback on requirements and user stories from a testing perspective.
    • Contribute to improving testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
