The main responsibilities include:
- Delivering automated tests
- Creating test documentation
- Defining test scope for tested areas and identifying risks
- Improving QA processes
- Supporting team members
- Leading technical discussions
Required skills and qualifications:
- 6+ years commercial experience in manual and automation testing
- 3+ years test automation experience
- Cypress.io and/or Playwright experience
- Good JavaScript knowledge
- Excellent understanding of testing techniques and strong manual testing experience
- Non-functional testing experience
- Knowledge of good testing practices and ability to apply them practically
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical people
- API testing using Postman experience
- Mentoring junior testers
- Database/Advanced Excel experience a plus
- Large datasets or large customer base experience a plus
- Root cause analysis and test reporting
- CI/CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services, Test design and programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS
- Python, Java knowledge an added advantage
