Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud engineer to join our team. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing solutions in the SFCC platform using agile methodologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with product teams to implement solutions in the SFCC platform.
  • Build and maintain features in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Design, code, unit test, and review iterative improvements in SFCC.
  • Integrate Commerce Cloud with 3rd party back-end systems.
  • Manage code deployment and version control.
  • Perform code reviews and unit tests.
  • Perform proof of concept tasks in partnership with the Technical Architect.
  • Provide development support from design through testing and deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, SHTML, CSS, SASS.

You should also have strong knowledge of SFRA, Storefront Reference Architecture, and its customization principles, as well as expertise in RESTful API integrations and connecting SFCC with third-party systems.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem is also required.

In addition, you should have hands-on experience in performance optimization techniques, including caching, lazy loading, and reducing time-to-first-byte.
