Guidewire BillingCenter Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire BillingCenter Manager to join our team at Value Vision Management Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Guidewire BillingCenter team and ensuring the successful implementation of our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sprint planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Review estimates and provide recommendations for updates to ensure timely project completion.
  • Lead the design and development of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Perform design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Support testing and client queries to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Interface with onsite teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in scrum calls and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to CoE activities, training, and recruitment efforts as required.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire products, particularly BillingCenter.
  • Strong knowledge of the Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI, and data modeling.
  • Good understanding of Webservices, XML, and ant scripts.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, with a strong grasp of SQL.
  • Exposure to SCM tools like GIT, TFS, and SVN.
  • Knowledge of servers and containers, including Tomcat, JBoss, and Websphere.
  • Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology.
  • Insurance domain knowledge and sound understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring skills.
  • At least two Guidewire implementations under your belt.
Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
