Job Overview
The Technical Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Financial and Operations (F&O) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture comprehensive technical requirements
- Analyze business process leads and key stakeholders' requirements to deliver required technical solutions
- Provide technical support for D365 F&O platform, including printer management within Dynamics, batch jobs, workflows, data corrections, and patch movements to multiple environments
- Understand business needs, determine best technical solution, and leverage default D365 capabilities to align with strategic objectives
- Support testing activities and training end-users as required
- Assist with integration of D365 F&O and CE with custom/3rd party applications
- Ensure MS standards are followed and systems are configured optimally for performance
- Maintain, manage, and support D365 application post-implementation
- Manage version control for custom code, builds, releases, and deployment
- Work closely with functional consultants to design MS D365 technical solutions
- Develop quality documentation as per industry standards
- Manage and maintain security roles and user access management
- Support DRA, printer, and scanner-related requirements
- Create, manage, and maintain workflows
- Create, manage, maintain, and monitor batch jobs
Requirements
- Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience
- Understanding of printers, handheld scanners, and F&O as a Cloud-hosted application
- Good knowledge of F&O
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners
- Previous experience working in a project team
- Aptitude for creative problem-solving
- Ability to work independently under general supervision with direction given in terms of broadly stated objectives and desired outcomes
- Customer-focused with demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a global and dynamic environment
- Results-driven, works in a highly ethical and professional manner
- Good team player with excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
