The Rating Advisory team is responsible for providing Investment Banking clients with advice and services relating to their credit profile, capital structure, financing optimisation, and credit ratings. This role requires you to leverage your expertise in financial, credit and rating analysis to provide astute, objective, transactional and advisory judgments to the firm and its clients.

  • You will perform capital structure analysis in the context of strategic corporate transactions such as M&A, LBOs, IPOs, restructurings, etc.
  • You will estimate potential rating impact of transactions.
  • You will contribute to commercial effort to identify and win new business opportunities.
  • You will develop and audit financial models applied to credit and rating assessments.

This role also requires you to participate in inaugural ratings processes for clients, develop relationships with market participants including corporate CFOs, Treasurers, as well as capital markets professionals at financial sponsors, and establish a network of contacts at the rating agencies.

Basic Qualifications
  • Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting related discipline is preferable.
  • Experience with modelling and financial statements analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of multiple teams and autonomously.
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload.
