Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Technologist to join our team.

  • Coordinate construction model information and implement BIM through the design, construction, and operational stages for a construction project lifecycle.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Digital Services Team to agree workload and prioritization of tasks.
  • Generate spatial co-ordination tests within Navisworks at agreed milestones.
  • Walkthrough review of federated models to highlight potential buildability, operability, and maintainability issues.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Solibri Office, experience using various modelling packages, and excellent interpersonal skills. They will also possess strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, and a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Update Newforma Konekt / ACC Issues system with issues found.
  • Produce coordination reports from the Newforma Konekt / ACC Issues system.
  • Manage the ACC Design collaboration, coordination space, QA/QC reviews, and workflow.
  • Audit model information (Revit) against criteria.
  • Peer review for BIM documents and reporting.
  • Prepare/Manage ACC Build checklists for ongoing construction.

Key Qualifications:

  • Clear understanding of Building Information Modelling and its benefits to the construction Industry.
  • Structured background experience.
  • Good knowledge of Solibri Office.
  • Multidisciplinary approach to design, independent of background.
  • Experience of using a variety of modelling packages and their interoperation.
