Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Business Data Analyst to extract valuable insights from complex data and inform business decisions.

This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, utilizing their expertise in data analysis, visualization, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business initiatives.
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Translate business questions into actionable data queries and provide key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions and optimize business processes.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain accurate data definitions, processes, and business rules.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with relevant policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Familiarity with Excel and at least one statistical or scripting language (Python, R, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot).
