Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management

  • Mentor junior staff in electrical engineering best practices.
Electrical Design Oversight
  • Develop high-quality designs that meet or exceed industry standards.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to discuss progress and address any concerns.
Project Management and Coordination
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with other departments to guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
Client Relations and Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Liaise with clients to gather input on new project ideas.
  • Promote our company's services by networking at industry events.
Quality Control and Compliance
  • Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement robust testing procedures.
  • Analyze data from previous projects to improve future performance.
Innovation and Process Improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in electrical engineering.
  • Identify areas where processes can be optimized for greater efficiency.
  • Research emerging trends and technologies that could benefit our clients.
Budget and Resource Management
  • Plan and execute budgets for individual projects, ensuring accurate resource allocation.
  • Analyze financial reports to gauge project performance.
  • Raise awareness about cost-saving opportunities within the team.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution
  • Proactively address potential risks in electrical design projects.
  • Find solutions to issues arising during construction or post-installation phases.
  • Establish clear communication channels with colleagues to avoid misunderstandings.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Create comprehensive documentation for each project, detailing all stages and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular status updates for senior management, highlighting key challenges and successes.
  • Schedule meetings with stakeholders to share project information and feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, including power distribution, control systems, lighting, and protection.
  • Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of local, national, and international electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups, including clients, contractors, and team members.
