Job Summary:

Senior Storage Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing NetApp storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches is required.
  • A strong understanding of software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc) is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing storage systems, adding disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and High Availability controllers.
  • Configuring and managing DR replications via snapmirror, vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools is also a key responsibility.
  • Providing operational support to File Serving/NAS Infrastructure, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy is a critical aspect of the role.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Service Now is desirable.
  • The Senior Storage Expert will be responsible for managing disk, aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues and checking storage critical events.
  • Day-to-day storage tasks, changes, and incidents will require attention and resolution.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in storage administration is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of storage technologies are essential.
  • An excellent understanding of CIFS, NFS, and enterprise process mapping tools and techniques is required.
  • Knowledge of industry good practice frameworks such as ITIL and Agile is desirable.
