Visionary Trading Strategist

The selected individual will guide the entire lifecycle of launching an algorithmic trading product in India.

• Providing strategic input on product positioning and differentiation.
• Assisting with compliance setup and regulatory documentation.
• Guiding technology stack and vendor partnerships.
• Supporting broker relationships and operational workflows.
• Advising on go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and customer engagement.

This role is critical to ensure a successful and compliant launch of the algorithmic trading platform, tailored specifically to the needs of the Indian retail investor and broker community.

A strong academic foundation in computer science or quantitative disciplines is required. Proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or R, with a focus on writing efficient, low-latency, and scalable code is essential.

Solid knowledge of equity markets, trading instruments, and market microstructure—especially within the Indian stock market (NSE/BSE)—is required. Familiarity with trading concepts such as order types, execution algorithms, arbitrage, hedging, backtesting, and risk management is highly desirable.

Hands-on experience in designing, developing, or maintaining algorithmic trading systems is necessary. Knowledge of broker APIs (e.g., Zerodha Kite, Upstox), order management systems, and automated execution strategies is advantageous.

Experience in working with data analytics tools, backtesting frameworks, and simulated trading environments to evaluate algorithm performance and refine trading strategies is required.

Understanding of SEBI regulations, exchange-specific rules, and compliance protocols related to automated and algorithmic trading in India is crucial.

Ability to approach complex challenges with a logical and data-driven mindset is vital. Capable of optimizing strategies and systems for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
