Platform Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our R&D team.
As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features and capabilities for our microservices backend.
The R&D group is building an enablement platform for media experiences in personalization, content interaction, and social interaction, at the core of our value proposition.
You will integrate with video and audio live/VOD assets, personalized processing, and distribution across the world to end-users in real-time.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop the company's platform infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve existing tools and workflows.
- Evaluate quality through automated testing, E2E testing, and performance testing.
- Explore innovative approaches to improve platform performance and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python.
- Strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modeling solutions for scalability and performance.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues.
- Collaborative mindset and fluent English communication.
