Experienced Unix Support Professional Wanted

This role is for an experienced Unix Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support in a mission-critical banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Unix operating systems, including AIX and Power Systems.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 or L3-level support for Unix systems.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulator requirements.
- Operate under ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem/Knowledge).
- Maintain high availability, performance, and security; participate in DR/BCP drills.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents and manage approved platform changes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.
- Tune configurations and schedule jobs to enhance performance and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors and validate post-change health.
- Demonstrate strong documentation, runbook hygiene, and clear communication with operations, security, audit, and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
