Software Quality Assurance Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced software quality assurance engineer to uphold the quality, security, and performance of our web, mobile, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing financial transactions, validating API integrations with exchanges and wallets, and ensuring robust automation workflows. This role is critical in maintaining trust and reliability for both retail and institutional users of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and API platforms to ensure high-quality user experiences.
  • Test crypto exchange and wallet integrations (CEX, DEX, APIs) to validate seamless interactions.
  • Validate financial workflows, portfolio tracking, and reporting features to ensure accurate data representation.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) to streamline test processes.
  • Conduct API testing (Postman, RestAssured) to verify API functionality and stability.
  • Perform performance and load testing (JMeter, k6, Locust) to assess system scalability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers in an Agile environment to drive project success.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and FinTech standards to protect user assets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in API testing (REST/GraphQL, WebSockets).
  • Working knowledge of SQL/Databases for data validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab).
