Job Title: Data Insights Professional

About the Role:

The Data Insights Professional plays a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making through actionable data insights. This position focuses on bespoke analytics solutions, dashboard development, and advanced data analysis using technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Python, SQL, and R.

  1. Key Accountabilities & Activities:
  • Data Analysis and Visualisation:
    • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to inform business decisions.
    • Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to uncover trends and patterns that support organisational growth.
  • Data Science Techniques:
    • Apply predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression techniques to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights.
    • Perform feature engineering and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for machine learning workflows, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Machine Learning Model Deployment:
    • Build, validate, and tune machine learning models using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks to drive predictive accuracy.
    • Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance over time to ensure consistent value delivery.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data science problems and communicate findings in a clear, concise manner.
  • Statistical Techniques and Hypothesis Testing:
    • Use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support informed decision-making.
  • Documentation and Reproducibility:
    • Document data science workflows and maintain reproducibility of experiments and models to ensure transparency and reliability.
  1. Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional Certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
    • SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
    • AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R to drive efficient data analysis.
    • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Machine Learning Experience:
    • Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models to drive predictive accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills:
    • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
