  • Pursue proactive threat detection using existing cybersecurity tools and identify potential open-source solutions to discover threat agent actions.
  • Develop effective mitigation strategies to prevent security incidents and design an incident response process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during significant security incidents, overseeing the development of incident response plans and generating detailed reports.
  • Identify and propose key information security initiatives, practices, and tools for implementation by management.
  • Provide proactive support on approved information security projects, internal/external security audits, application security assessments, and reviews for compliance.
  • Detect and respond to emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities, implementing effective communication channels across relevant teams.
  • Implement remediation controls to address detected security threats and conduct GRC assessments on IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Perform hardening reviews of endpoints, networks, and servers to ensure robust security.
  • Manage security compliance for end points, networks, servers, databases, etc.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • The ability to work independently and think critically as an individual contributor.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as SIEM, IDAM, PIM/PAM, Breach Attack Simulation, and Micro segmentation.
  • An in-depth understanding of network and endpoint security principles and concepts.
  • Practical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Hypervisors).
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions and ability to mitigate network vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to assist with root cause identification for incident management.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including SSAE16, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA, NIST, ISO27000, CobiT, ISF, OWASP, and SANS.
  • Excellent analytical, technical research, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Availability to work on-call whenever required.

This is a full-time employment opportunity based in Gurgaon, requiring a commitment of 6 days per week from the office.
