Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team at Saaki Argus & Averil Consulting. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using Talend Studio and Talend Management Console (TMC).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL databases, including MS SQL Server and Oracle, to design, query, and optimize data processes. Additionally, they will be able to implement Talend Cloud solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

A key aspect of this role is monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in ETL workflows to maintain smooth operations. The successful candidate will also apply best practices in data quality, governance, and standardization to ensure accuracy and consistency in data pipelines.

An additional responsibility of this position is conducting performance tuning and optimization of both ETL processes and SQL queries for high efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data architects and business analysts, is also required to understand data requirements.

This role requires the ability to prepare and maintain detailed documentation of ETL workflows, processes, and technical solutions. Furthermore, the selected candidate must function as an independent contributor, capable of completing tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend Studio and TMC
  • Work with SQL databases, including MS SQL Server and Oracle, to design, query, and optimize data processes
  • Implement Talend Cloud solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in ETL workflows to maintain smooth operations
  • Apply best practices in data quality, governance, and standardization to ensure accuracy and consistency in data pipelines
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of both ETL processes and SQL queries for high efficiency

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including MS SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience with Talend Studio and Talend Management Console (TMC)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
