Databricks Delivery Lead Opportunity

Hiring for a key role in our organization, we are seeking a skilled Databricks Squad Delivery Lead. This position requires expertise in project delivery, team leadership, and client engagement.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing project delivery, team leadership, architecture reviews, and client engagement. They should be proficient in optimizing Databricks implementations across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) while leading cross-functional teams.

We're looking for someone who can lead end-to-end delivery of Databricks-based solutions, collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms, oversee Databricks workspace setup, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of Databricks-based projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Databricks architecture, implementation, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
  • Oversee the setup, performance tuning, and cost optimization of Databricks workspaces.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation within the team by implementing best practices, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Hands-on experience delivering data engineering/analytics projects using Databricks.
  • Experience managing cloud-based data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong leadership skills and client-facing communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and distributed computing.
  • Expertise in data engineering concepts (ETL, data lakes, data warehousing).
  • Certifications in Databricks or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum or PMP certification is an added advantage.
