As a senior EDI specialist, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our electronic data interchange capabilities. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management, and collaboration to implement, manage, and optimize EDI systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • EDI System Management
    • Set up, maintain, and configure partner integrations to ensure seamless communication.
    • Monitor system performance to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement EDI standards and new transaction types based on business and partner requirements.
    • Streamline data flows to enhance efficiency and ease-of-use.
  • Project Implementation
    • Participate in and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects.
    • Collaborate with SAP teams and EDI providers to drive successful outcomes.
    • Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) and other EDI stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Data Mapping and Transaction Handling
    • Develop and maintain accurate data maps and transaction sets.
    • Analyze and transform data to meet business needs.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical Support and Training
    • Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and incident handling.
    • Train internal teams in EDI processes and systems to enhance their abilities.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Superior verbal and written communication in English.
  • Demonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines.
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments and adapting to change.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions.
  • Project management experience and team leadership skills.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
