Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, build and deploy robust machine learning models in a production environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Machine Learning Pipelines: Utilize AWS SageMaker to create end-to-end machine learning pipelines that deliver business value.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists: Work closely with data scientists to translate models and algorithms into production-ready code.
  • Manage the Machine Learning Lifecycle: Manage the entire machine learning lifecycle including data ingestion, model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Implement MLOps Best Practices: Automate workflows and ensure model performance and reliability using MLOps best practices.
  • Optimize ML Models: Optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency on the AWS platform.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Deployed Models: Monitor and troubleshoot deployed models to ensure they meet performance and business requirements.
  • Stay Current with Industry Advancements: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and cloud technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Machine Learning Experience: 3+ years of experience in a machine learning or data science role.
  • AWS Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS services specifically SageMaker.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and standard ML libraries e.g. scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch.
  • Containerization Technologies: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • MLOps Principles: Solid understanding of MLOps principles and tools for CI/CD.
  • Data Engineering Principles: Knowledge of data engineering principles and experience with big data technologies e.g. Spark Hadoop.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Additional AWS Experience: Experience with other AWS services e.g. S3 Lambda Glue Redshift.
  • Certifications: Certifications e.g. AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty.
  • Model Serving Frameworks: Experience with model serving frameworks e.g. Flask FastAPI.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Agile Development Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
