Job Title: Associate Scientific Manager I

This role involves leading proof-of-concept studies in the biopharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and recording experiments, as well as interpreting and analyzing data using relevant instrument software.

A thorough understanding of cell culture and hands-on experience with in vitro bioassay techniques are essential. Experience with novel technologies such as HTRF, AlphaLISA, Luminescence, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, SPR, and BLI is required.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting critical issues, maintaining instruments, and supporting installation of new instruments. Additionally, you will keep track of ordering and maintaining inventory of consumables, reagents, and support lab maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading proof-of-concept studies
  • Developing and qualifying bioassay methods
  • Transferring techniques and stability sample testing
  • Assessing CQA and performing biosimilarity analysis
  • Understanding cell culture and in vitro bioassay techniques
  • Experiencing novel technologies and handling instruments
  • Independently designing, executing, and recording experiments
  • Interpreting and analyzing data and disseminating results
  • Troubleshooting critical issues and maintaining instruments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a biopharmaceutical laboratory setting
  • Proficiency in handling instruments like Plate Readers, Flow Cytometers, Biacores, and Octets
  • Familiarity with statistical tools like GraphPad Prism and JMP, Document Management System (DMS), and Digital Quality Management Software (Trackwise)
