Job Overview:

As a seasoned software professional, your role will involve hands-on coding and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of project requirements and execute development/bug fix activities effectively.
  • Active participation in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
  • Participate in software and architectural design activities to drive innovative solutions.
  • Lead analysis, development, testing, and debugging/defect fixing for assigned stories/bug fixes.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance Java application efficiency.
  • Create required documentation for projects.
  • Meet SLAs for assigned defects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Java technologies as per project requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of combined experience in software development, with expertise in at least one modern programming language.
  • Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Java Caching mechanism, Oracle database.
  • Good understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, React, D3.
  • Experience using Git version control systems, Jenkins, Nexus, and Sonar.
  • Proficient in Linux/Unix systems.
  • Experience working with high-availability and high-performance systems.
  • Knowledge of release/deployment and application support processes.
  • Experience in performance tuning would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Docker, Ansible, Chef, and/or Puppet is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle database management system.
