Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will have expertise in Linux administration, container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the resolution of complex OpenShift and Kubernetes issues through rigorous troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
  • Oversee and optimize cluster capacity, performance, and scaling by implementing strategic upgrades and migrations.
  • Develop automation scripts and tooling for platform management, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Define and implement security hardening, compliance, and governance frameworks to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Mentor junior engineers and build operational knowledge base through hands-on training and documentation.
  • Liaise with architecture and DevOps teams on enhancements and new capabilities, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational processes for the platform, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Own BAU process improvements and standardization across environments, ensuring consistency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux administration.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in OpenShift (v4 preferred).
  • Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, Operators.
  • Strong knowledge of container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with automation and GitOps tooling.
