Job Title: Assistant Manager

A key role in a major consumer products company is the Assistant Manager, Cluster Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and be able to drive business performance by providing financial/commercial expertise and insights.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Possess a flair for numbers and an ability to think big-picture.
  • Communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and drive business performance.
  • Be proactive, self-driven, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
Key Areas of Responsibility:A. Performance Delivery
  • Support and enable Annual Operating Plan delivery on Volume, Net Sales Value, Operational Cash, and Pricing.
  • Strengthen the Finance Operations and Risk process and build a Pre and Post Management mindset for Trade Spend investments.
B. Productivity
  • Collect past credit forms and ensure process improvement.
  • Participate in unlocking savings and ensuring hygiene by dialing up Distributor Return On Investment.
C. Net Revenue Management
  • Drive Below-The-Line claim process for the cluster and adopting new BTL Process.
  • Develop a Pre and Post Management Culture on BTL and Total Trade Spending.
D. Business Partnering
  • Develop financial analysis to drive business insights and communicate them to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Commercial Heads/Sub-Headquarters to drive business performance and provide financial/commercial expertise and insights.
E. BAU Operations
  • Credit Management - timely Management Information System circulation for expected blocks and credit Block Release.
  • Collection Management - driving collection and reducing overdues by partnering with sales team.
F. Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure compliance to Credit Policy, BTL Policy, Total Trade Spending Policy, Statement Of Accounts, and all commercial Control And Risk Management controls.
  • Risks identified through Taskforce review are tracked and reviewed with Risk and Compliance Functionality Head.
