HPC System Administration Role

This role is responsible for managing HPC and VDI clusters, user account administration, AMI image creation and maintenance, Linux operating system installation and configuration, support for HPC components, and more.

  • Administration of HPC and VDI clusters
  • User Account management for HPC onboarding and offboarding
  • Creation and Maintenance of AMI Images in AWS accounts
  • Installation and configuration of Linux operating systems on HPC clusters
  • Support for HPC necessary components and native services by coordinating with respective providers
  • AWS Managed Active Directory support and Management
  • Ongoing upgrades to the HPC platform and related components
  • Implementation and maintenance of compliance controls, regular audits, and corrective actions as required
  • Collaboration with other teams like v-drive team in testing and migrating/installing engineering applications

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience with HPC and VDI cluster administration
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work with cloud-based services
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
