Job Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures to support our business analytics solutions.

You will have the opportunity to work independently to understand system requirements, design and implement required functionality/bug fixes/enhancements. You will be responsible for components developed by the team and deployed globally.

Mandatory Skills
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, focusing on data engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer in Big Data is required.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python / Scala) and Big Data technologies (Spark, Databricks) is essential.
  • Experience in executing complex data analysis and running complex SQL/Spark queries.
  • Expertise in building complex data transformations in SQL/Spark.
  • Strong understanding of Database technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Azure Cloud is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills.
