Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The primary objective of this position is to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver and related libraries. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing reusable components and maintaining the automation framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver and related libraries.
  • Develop reusable components and maintain the automation framework.
  • Perform functional, regression and integration testing for web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts and QA leads to understand test requirements and scope.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify issues.
  • Contribute to the integration of test suites in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation and support manual testing when needed.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA automation using Java and Selenium.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Java best practices.
  • Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or Junit.
  • Experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins and Postman.
  • Working knowledge of API testing and RESTful services.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
  • Exposure to cross-browser and mobile test automation.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
