Senior BIM Design Engineer

Our organization is seeking a skilled BIM electrical specialist to fill a key role. This position requires expertise in electrical design, Revit MEP, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and manage 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360 software.
- Design and implement electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
- Create detailed electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Resolve potential clashes by coordinating with other MEP disciplines.
- Generate precise shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors for seamless BIM execution and coordination.
- Adhere to project-specific BIM standards, LOD requirements, and documentation protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modeling for MEP projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo software.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing principles.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and collaborative working practices.
- Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
