Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer and Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data visualization solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for learning new technologies and possess excellent expertise in designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create data-driven reports and dashboards that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Understand and analyze source data to deliver timely reports.
  • Develop strong expertise in designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Monitor and optimize dashboard performance.
  • Connect to multiple data sources through Power BI.
  • Publish and share dashboards, scheduling data refreshes.
  • Handle complexity around visualization or data.
  • Maintain strong SQL skills, preferably over SQL Server. Understand Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with ETL tools like SSIS is an added advantage.
Qualifications We Seek:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • BE/B Tech/MCA degree.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
    • Good conceptual knowledge and experience in other BI tools.
    • Experienced Power BI developer including Azure environment.
    • Implementing Power BI reports reading data from different data sources.
    • Creating Reports, Dashboards, and visualizations in PowerBI.
    • Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service, and Report Server.
    • Experience in Paginated Reports using Report Builder.
    • Migrating SSRS reports/Tabular reports to Power BI Paginated Reports.
    • Understanding of Power Query M and building sophisticated DAX queries.
    • Implementing static and dynamic Row Level Security, dataset design, data cleansing, and aggregation.
    • Relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
    • Solid SQL reporting skills creating SQL views and writing SQL queries.
About You

You should have strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create custom datasets for reporting or analysis. Additionally, you should be able to nurture robust working relationships with the team, peers, and clients, requiring scheduling flexibility.
