About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Chemist to join our team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our drilling operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in chemistry and experience in upstream (E&P) oil/gas operations. A minimum of 3 years of working experience is required, with a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

About the Job

This is a full-time position based in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, India. The job involves planning and executing drilling operations, including cement jobs, acidisation, and cement squeezing. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring the quality control of chemicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing hydraulic programs for hole cleaning and pore pressure management
  • Analysing produced gas and water samples from CBM wells and testing prop pant sand
  • Planning and executing cement jobs, acidisation, and cement squeezing operations
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Sampling and testing chemicals
  • Interacting with drilling engineers, completion engineers, and G&G personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in upstream (E&P) oil/gas operations
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry and laboratory procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
