We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in contract management, international arbitration and operational risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage international arbitration proceedings ensuring alignment with global legal standards.

Contract Management:

  • Draft review and negotiate high-value commercial contracts.
  • Vet contracts from a legal and risk perspective ensuring compliance and enforceability.

Claims & Risk Mitigation:

  • Review and manage legal claims including vessel claims and operational disputes.
  • Analyse potential liabilities and implement strategies for cost reduction and risk mitigation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Negotiate with clients vendors and third parties on contractual matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal safeguards.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

  • Oversee litigation matters coordinate with external counsel and represent the company in legal forums.
  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and favourably.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience preferably in a large manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of international arbitration maritime claims and commercial law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and legal risk in a dynamic business environment.
