Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and develop our cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and a strong ability to implement and maintain scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  2. Implement and maintain Azure services, including Function Apps, Logic Apps, App Service, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Data Factory, and Azure Automation, to optimize efficiency and scalability.
  3. Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and authorization, providing secure access to resources and sensitive data.
  4. Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure precise access privileges and minimize security risks.
  5. Maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, guaranteeing business continuity and minimal downtime in case of unexpected events.
  6. Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.
  7. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub, streamlining the development process and reducing manual errors.
  8. Create automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting, automating routine tasks and improving overall productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID configuration and management.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Extensive experience with Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, and Azure Automation.
  • Solid understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and GitHub.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, and Shell.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
