Power Automate Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Power Automate Engineer to develop and support workflows using Power Automate Desktop (PAD) and other Microsoft 365 tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration and productivity, interacting with external data sources, and troubleshooting challenges. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of Power Automate functions and their limitations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Power Automate workflows using Power Automate Desktop (PAD).
  • Interact with various external data sources and perform CRUD operations.
  • Debug, develop, and add new conditions/actions in both new and existing workflows.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work directly with clients to support various projects and solutions.
  • Identify areas where Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged to facilitate process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Ability to create business and IT processes with out-of-the-box and custom connectors with Microsoft Automate/Flow.
  • Ability to create and connect child flows.
  • Experience developing RPA with or within Microsoft Power Automate/Flow.
  • A clear understanding of Power Automate functions and limitations.
  • .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of Dataverse and SQL is a plus.
  • Creating PowerShell scripts is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required for this position.
