About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our team at McLaren Strategic Solutions (MSS). As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have 7-8+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing in Financial Services, Investment, or Asset Management domains. A strong background in automation testing, particularly with Testim, is essential. Proficiency in JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts is also required. Additionally, expertise in SQL for database testing and API testing, as well as experience with Azure DevOps for managing test cases and workflows, is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of automated testing strategies using Testim.
  • Develop and maintain complex JavaScript test scripts to ensure thorough testing of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Maintain and improve existing testing processes and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing efforts.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the testing team by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 7-8+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing in Financial Services, Investment, or Asset Management.
  • Proven experience with Testim for automation testing.
  • Expertise in JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of SQL for database testing and API testing.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for managing test cases and workflows.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated mindset.
