Job Title: Technical Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Manhattan Associates. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale, multi-tier, distributed software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop resilient and cloud-ready solutions
  • Be responsible for the quality of software; we believe quality is the responsibility of the developer
  • Estimate and plan your own work and the work of others in the group
  • Evaluate software (or configuration) issues in many areas of the system and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Implement changes to the system, ensuring the changes do not introduce new issues
  • Document all work
  • Ensure high-quality software deliverables by leveraging automation and best practices in tooling

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Java and J2EE technologies, particularly Core Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong development and delivery experience with distributed commercial software applications
  • Experience working with Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, microservices, and frameworks such as Amazon Web Services, and container technologies like Docker is a plus
