Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) as the underlying ETL tool.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with ODI, OBIA, and related tools such as Kintana and PVCS. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting ODI environments, including data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, data warehouse maintenance, ETL development, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement solutions in Oracle BI Tool stack, particularly ODI and SQL.
  • Develop, enhance, and support ODI environments, along with performance tuning of SQL programs.
  • Maintain data warehouses using Star Schema (Dimensional Modeling) and ensure production support for daily running ETL loads, monitoring, troubleshooting failures, and bug fixing across environments.
  • Work with different data sources, including Oracle, CRM, Cloud, Flat Files, Sharepoint, and other non-Oracle systems.
  • Perform performance tuning of mappings in ODI and SQL query tuning.
  • Demonstrate expertise in data warehousing concepts like SCDs, Dimensional Modeling, Archive strategy, Aggregation, Hierarchy, and database concepts like Partitioning, Materialized views.
  • Migrate and deploy activities in Oracle BI tool stack (ODI), Kintana, and PVCS.
  • Have a working knowledge of OBIEE.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in OBIA on ODI as the ETL tool in BIAPPS environment.
  • Ability to work in a demanding user environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge on tools like Serena Business Manager and Service Now.
  • Knowledge on SDLC and change management process.
  • Coordinate among various teams for day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers for assistance in various project implementations.
  • Design and improve BI processes for Development and Change Management.
  • Possess strong team player skills.
  • Be ready to work in 24-7 environments.


Qualifications:
A Tech or MCA degree is preferred.
