We are seeking an exceptional Scientific Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our product development group, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Analyze complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate degree OR Master s degree and 4 to 6 years of Life Science / Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Information Systems experience OR
  • Bachelor s degree and 6 to 8 years of Life Science / Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Information Systems experience OR
  • Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Life Science / Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Information Systems experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Life Sciences, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and supporting biopharma scientific research data analytics

Functional Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges in drug discovery with data
  • Understanding of semantics and FAIR (Findability, Accessibility Interoperability and Reuse) data concepts
  • Understanding of knowledge graphs, taxonomy and ontology concepts in life sciences and chemistry domains
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a multi-functional team
