Job Overview

Job Title: Senior Credit Research Analyst

Department: Credit and Markets

Reports to: Head of Market Intelligence

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
  1. Client Engagement:
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments for research projects and deliver high-quality outputs that meet client expectations.
    • Seek regular feedback from clients and incorporate suggestions to improve services.
    • Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring timely delivery and communication.
  2. Research Management:
    • Develop in-depth credit research on global IG, HY, Leveraged loans, and distressed debt, including initiation coverage notes, investment idea generation, industry research, and bond and covenants analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver research outputs that meet business objectives.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues in the credit markets.
  3. Skills and Qualifications:
    • Postgraduate degree in Finance or related field, CFA/CA/MBA preferred.
    • 5-8 years' experience in credit research with leading financial institutions, rating agencies, and KPOs.
    • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with cash flow modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools.
    • Specialization in multiple industries is a plus.
  4. Other Requirements:
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality research outputs under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
    • Hands-on experience with third-party databases and research platforms.
Requirements and Expectations

Education: Postgraduate degree in Finance or related field.

Experience: 5-8 years in credit research with global banks, rating agencies, wealth management firms, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs.

Skills: Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Cash flow modeling, data analysis, and visualization tool experience is a must.

Additional requirements: Specialization in multiple industries, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with third-party databases and research platforms are desired.
