Production Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Operations Manager to lead our production team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage man power planning and organizing in the production department.
  • Organize machine shop, fabrication shop, and maintenance activities.
  • Source vendors for materials based on customer requirements.
  • Oversee logistics material inward and outward as per customer needs.
  • Update inventory and follow up with customers and operations for timely dispatch.
  • Manage rental assets inventory, tool history cards, and arrange third-party inspections.
  • Plan materials requirements based on orders received.
  • Conduct reviews with operators on safety, safe work practices, and operational issues.
  • Prepare job cards, route cards, bill of materials, and weekly machine loading charts.
  • Monitor work in progress items across departments.
  • Coordinate with purchase, designs, foundry, sales, marketing, stores, quality, and workshop teams.
  • Develop and maintain management information systems for data analysis.
  • Implement safety procedures, ISO 9000 protocols, and conduct management review meetings.
