Job Overview

Role Details

The candidate will lead the India Energy Storage Association stationary energy storage initiative, accelerating the growth of the Indian market.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Interpreting policy issues relating to energy storage, renewable integration, and storage projects.
    • Collecting relevant industry statistics to understand trends.
    • Communicating the effectiveness of IESA initiatives and highlighting industry growth.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with various stakeholders, including government officials and industry experts.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the global and Indian stationary energy storage market, including BTM, FTM, renewable integration, grid applications, C&I applications, and telecom data center.
  • Undertaking market research, analysis, and creation of reports providing appropriate insights to government and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitoring energy storage tenders and project status in India.
Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Chemical, or EEE.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the stationary energy storage and renewable energy domain.
  • Knowledge of key domestic and international players, their areas of operations, existing and planned activities, and capacities.
  • Experience in working with industry associations, think tanks, forums for driving renewable energy and energy storage-related initiatives.
