Job Summary:

Rapid Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Azure Developer/Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable cloud-based applications and services on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of cloud-based applications and services on Azure.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Ensure integration of Azure services with on-premise or hybrid solutions when needed.
  • Lead hands-on development efforts using Azure technologies such as Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Service Fabric, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Implement cloud-native development practices, including microservices, serverless architecture, and API management.
  • Work with the DevOps team to build and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
  • Strong experience with Azure data services, including Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, Data Factory.
  • Proficiency in data modelling (both relational and dimensional).
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, machine learning pipelines, and data science tools is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Azure DevOps.
  • Azure Synapse.
  • Data Lake.
  • Data Architecture.
  • Microsoft Fabric.

Nice to have skills:
