Machine Learning Leader


About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Leader to scale our machine learning products and ensure the integrity of our credit risk policy. The ideal candidate will work on implementing models within pre-approved campaigns and live digital journeys, ensuring APIs operate smoothly at scale.

The role requires a strong background in cloud-based tools and packages for automation and encryption.

About the Team:

You will be part of a dynamic ML Engineering Team within Digital Banking, working in a fast-paced environment where new ideas are encouraged. You will collaborate with teams across the bank to drive innovation.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of overall industry experience, with at least 3-4 years in Machine Learning (ML)/MLOps or Business Rule Engine (BRE) implementation.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • End-to-end ML/MLOps system architecture including model/BRE implementation, debugging, and production maintenance.
    • Proficient in Python, PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, SQL, and Linux.
    • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Databricks, Spark, Data Warehousing, and pipeline orchestration.
    • Skilled in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and management, including automated model deployment.
    • Experience with FastAPI/Flask for building scalable ML models APIs.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to credit risk modeling and financial services is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
    • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
