We design and develop smart AI + sensor systems that work seamlessly on the shop floor, from measuring steel bars to spotting defects in plastic pipes.

You will be responsible for prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras, as well as supporting hardware selection, designing mounts and enclosures that withstand heat, vibration, and factory conditions, integrating with DAQ tools, PLCs, and OpenCV scripts, deploying solutions across customer sites, and troubleshooting and iterating quickly when challenges arise.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Designing a mount to securely attach a sensor to a moving part
  • Wiring up a sensor to capture accurate data
  • Deploying a pilot project successfully and iterating quickly when faced with challenges
  • Being comfortable saying 'I don't know' and seeking help when needed
