Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled and culturally aware translator to handle the translation of advertisements for various clients. The candidate will be responsible for translating ad copy from English to Marathi while maintaining the original impact, tone, and brand messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate advertisement content (print and digital) from English to Marathi, including commercial ads, classifieds, promotional content, and display ads.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of translated advertisements.
  • Adapt advertising copy to suit audience sensibilities without losing the intent or promotional appeal of the original ad.
  • Proofread and review final copy before publication to ensure error-free communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Mass Communication, Advertising, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in translation, preferably with a focus on advertising or media.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Marathi.
  • Familiarity with advertising language, tone, and persuasive techniques.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools; familiarity with ad layout tools is a plus.
