UI/UX Designer - Geospatial AI

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and accessible digital experiences that empower farmers. Your key responsibility will be to own the design strategy and user experience of the platform, ensuring simplicity, trust, and impact for farmer-centric digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
  • Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners.
  • Translate feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
  • Champion UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.
  • Run design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyze outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices to keep KhetPe ahead.
  • Report weekly on design progress, open issues, and risks; ensure alignment with Product and Engineering teams.
