Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented software quality assurance specialist with a flair for testing and automation to ensure the highest level of software quality.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preliminary Testing and Validation: Conduct performance, load, and stress tests to ensure software stability.
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Create test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications to drive product development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback during sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline Management: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are set up correctly to streamline product delivery.
  • Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Metrics Analysis and Reporting: Track key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends to inform product decisions.
  • Process Improvement and Best Practices Promotion: Implement process improvements and promote best practices in software quality assurance to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Automation Framework Experience: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Playwright.
  • Test Planning and Execution Expertise: Proven track record in creating and executing test plans and strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Performance, Load, and Stress Testing Knowledge: Experience in conducting performance, load, and stress tests to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management Familiarity: Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate product release and deployment.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-7 Years of Testing Experience: 4-7 years of relevant testing experience with a focus on software quality assurance.
