Global Trade Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the import process, generating insurance certificates, and handling hazardous cargo. They will also need to negotiate freight rates, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain accurate records.

About the Role:
  • This is a challenging position that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including factories, forwarders, and customers.
  • Negotiate air or sea freight rates with shipping lines or freight forwarders.
  • Handle hazardous cargo, including understanding Haz Classes and Packing Groups.
  • Generate Insurance Certificates through online portals and maintain insured amount balances.
  • Maintain accurate records for all export shipments, including up-to-date status of EGM and RODTEP benefits.
  • Ensure regular review and understanding of SCOMET and Narcotics requirements for every shipment.
  • Resolve queries from export customers promptly and efficiently.
  • Apply for Preferential & Non-preferential COOs online.
  • Arrange courier shipments through DHL / FedEx.
