About the Role
  • As a Medical Coding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate coding of medical records, resulting in revenue enhancement for our clients.
  • You will address coding denials by editing and resubmitting claims, thereby minimizing financial losses.
  • Your focus on continuous improvement will enable our customers to comply with industry standards while reducing revenue leakage.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to update your coding skills, knowledge, and accuracy by participating in coding team meetings and educational conferences.

Requirements
  • To be considered for this position, applicants must have a degree in life sciences with 1-4 years of experience in medical coding, including denial management.
  • Candidates should have exposure to CPT-4, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Prior certification in CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CIC/COC from AAPC/AHIMA is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Freshers with good knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology can also apply.
  • Applicants must possess current coding certification with valid proof of certification.
  • A strong understanding of medical coding and billing systems, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts, and principles is essential.

We offer a competitive salary package of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
