Logistics Trainee

The role of a Logistics Trainee is to gain hands-on experience in the logistics industry, specifically in Container Freight Stations (CFS) and depot operations. The ideal candidate will have recent academic qualifications and be motivated to learn and grow within our team.

• Daily Operations at CFS and Depots:
  • Support the team in managing day-to-day activities at Container Freight Stations (CFS) and depots.
  • Assist in coordinating cargo movements, container handling, and warehouse management.
  • Develop an understanding of the processes involved in inbound/outbound freight, documentation, and inventory management at depots.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data from CFS and depots to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports and performance dashboards using data analytics tools.
• MS Office Expertise:
  • Utilize MS Excel to manage operational data, perform calculations, and generate data insights.
  • Create professional PowerPoint presentations to present findings and operational updates to senior management.
• Presentation & Communication:
  • Develop effective communication skills by presenting reports on depot and CFS operations to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Project Support:
  • Contribute to special projects related to CFS operations, warehouse efficiency, and depot management.
  • Work under the guidance of experienced team members to achieve project goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Learning & Development:
  • Participate in training programs focused on logistics, CFS operations, and industry best practices.
  • Seek opportunities to expand knowledge of logistics workflows and supply chain management.
